I believe everyone can act if they can be themselves unapologetically, and live fully in the here and now. No matter who you are or where life takes you, that ability is a gift to possess. I want to help people get there. Through my knowledge of Classical Text Analysis, Clown Technique and Lee Strasberg's Method Acting Technique, I offer a varied approach to unlocking each students' instrument in their pursuit of truth, and freedom of expression. Let's play! |
What I Offer:I offer monologue coaching for Shakespearean and contemporary pieces. I have developed a simple system to help guide you towards an audition-ready performance through a fun and exploratory process. I also offer a more extensive service to help you develop a grouping of complimentary monologues to use professionally or in the conservatory audition process. |

Testimonials:
"Sophia coached me on two Shakespeare monologues, and I absolutely loved working with her! She shared lots of valuable insight with me that helped me really dig into the text, personalize it, and connect with the characters on a deeper level. Her guidance helped me make lots of great discoveries in our sessions together, and I've been able to apply that guidance to lots of other pieces as well. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a monologue coach!"

Biggest take-away is Shakespeare can be FUN! I learned there's lots of Surprises in his writings. Also going over everything chunk by chunk was definitely my speed and not overwhelming at all
